Prerit is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. He is working broadly in affect-based generative problems involving text, speech and human motion. He is interested in adding emotions to text/speech driven generated human motion. Another related area he is working on is dyadic dance motion generation which involves problems generating human motion conditioned on music and partner’s dance motion.

Previously, he received an integrated Bachelors & Masters in Electronics & Electrical Communication with a minor in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
