Apoorva Vashisth is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University. She is mainly interested in Reinforcement Learning & Motion Planning and focuses on developing optimized algorithms to run on embedded devices. Her work involves giving intelligent decision making capability to aerial & ground robots for real-time planning. Before joining Purdue, she completed her Bachelor’s and Masters’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.
